Teresa Kurth, MS, RD, LDN

Registered Dietitian, Licensed Nutritionist

Teresa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bradley University and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Minnesota in coordination with The Emily Program. In 2023, she obtained her Master’s in Applied Nutrition with concentration in Fitness and Sports Nutrition from Canisius College. 

Teresa brings over 7 years of experience working with eating disorder clients at residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient levels of care. In addition, she has experience utilizing medical nutrition therapy in the hospital setting. She is grateful to be supporting clients at Focus through their recovery journey.  

When working with clients, Teresa encourages mindfulness and compassion. She believes in an all foods fit philosophy, and practices from a health at every size (HAES) lens. Teresa uses a collaborative approach to aid clients in healing their relationships with food, movement, and their body. It is her goal to help clients discover food freedom while meeting their nutritional needs.

Specialties: Eating disorders (ARFID, binge eating disorder, bulimia, anorexia), disordered eating (overeating, stress/emotional eating, etc.), sports nutrition, and mental health.
